Recommended for strip use, the Pro-Comp series uses backlit incandescent lighting and features a black background and silver surround ring. The Pro-Compact series also features many gauges that are filled with an internal dampening fluid for smooth pointer movement in applications where abnormally harsh vibration will occur. Designed and proven to be the most durable gauges on the planet, liquid filled mechanical gauges use our standard top of the line and extremely durable 270 degree sweep Pro-Comp mechanical gauge movements and fill them with a liquid silicone compound for extreme vibration dampening and smooth pointer movement. These gauges are proven to give steady and accurate readings in the harshest of competition environments including NHRA top fuel funny car, baja 1000, off-shore marine, and speeds in excess of 400mph on the bonneville salt flats to name a few.
